Fax-Net was established in 1991 by Richard Loraine-Smith in Oxford, England to meet the growing needs for buyers of office equipment. The first Fax-Guide launched that year, using FaxBack Fax Retrieval, listed key features of more than 150 top machines at prices which were often substantially lower than the RRP. This was the first electronic guide in the UK offering independent information free of charge!
